Reset Your Body for Spring At Rescue

Reset Your Body
With a Massage at Rescue

The dramatic swings in the weather lately can play chaos on our bodies and to our moods.  There is a growing body of social psychological research on the effect weather plays in our lives.  Scientific research on weather changes and how we react are not always positive.  For example, weather swings from warm to cold lead to lethargy and we tend to work out less and neglect our body.  Weather swings to rain lead to less light and our body’s serotonin levels decrease, increasing our body’s desire for carbohydrates and we thus eat more.  Combat the dramatic shifts in our weather – hot to cold, sun to rain and everything in between with a well deserved and restorative massage.  Summer will eventually arrive and we can soak up the benefits of the sunshine.  In the meantime, visit Rescue for a Massage.

Daylight Savings ☀️ ☀️ ☀️

Spring Forward At Rescue:

Massage therapy helps us to transition with the start of Daylight Savings Time.  On Sunday March 12th we “spring forward” one hour.  While one hour may not seem that significant, we can become sleep deprived.  We also naturally increase our activity with the extra hour of daylight.

Our body wakes up from the dormancy of winter and this increased activity can cause our body to run down.  This fatigue can lead to accidents and injuries.

Honor your body’s circadian rhythm.  Help your body transition into the new season of greater light and more movement with a nurturing and restorative massage.

Massage also provides physical alignment with the psychological changes that occur with daylight saving time.

You deserve the relief a massage brings!

Enjoy your extra hour of daylight!”
