“Valmont Prime Renewing Pack is a Rescue favorite this unique product gives you an instant beauty boost. It’s a skin thirst quencher. I love to use it in the morning as my pick-me-up or before a special event for an extra glow!” – Danuta Mieloch
Valmont Renewing Pack is recommended for any skin lacking radiance and vitality, this rebalancing treatment mask gives skin an instant beauty boost. An essential product, and one of the best-sellers in the range, Renewing Pack symbolizes what is so special about Valmont skin care. A multi tasking treatment that can be used as a day or night cream, regenerating mask, or quick boost for poreless, glowing skin.
Light, non-greasy texture that works to smooth and relax facial features
Peptides + Cocktail combines anti-wrinkle peptides with raw ginseng extract to stimulate microcirculation.
Peptides induce collagen synthesis to reconstruct the dermal matrix.
An optimal anti-wrinkle action, this combination works twice as fast as retinol without a single drawback!
Spring is finally here… at the moment my skin is a bit drier given the cold weather we’ve had in Philadelphia. This seems like the best time to have a facial treatment. It’s the easiest way to exfoliate and rejuvenate a post winter complexion. So I decided to create the Spring Skin Perfector Facial.
We start with a thorough cleansing followed by microdermabrasion to cleanse and smooth the pores and a customized peel for your skin’s needs is applied afterwards. Microcurrent lifting and remodeling will accentuate your cheekbones, smooth out your wrinkles, and define your jawline. Finished off with LED therapy for rejuvenating your skin on a cellular level. The perfect way to welcome spring!
For those of us at home a DIY facial is a sure way to exfoliate and rehydrate your skin. Here are the basic and effective steps:
I recommend Lait U for cleansing. It’s a gentle cleanser that softens and rehydrates the skin.
P50 1970 instantly exfoliates, balances, and revives your complexion.
Mask VIP O2 takes about 5-15 minutes to penetrate and leaves your skin silky and even toned.
My go-to product is Renewing Pack. Valmont has newly reformulated this classic for even better performance. This multitasker is like a thirst quencher, moisturizer, mask, makeup base, in flight skin saver… use it any way you like, you can never go wrong!
Silk Plus Serum gives you instant hydration, can be applied before or after your moisturizer for a satin finish. I like to mix it with my foundation for an even more sheer and glowing application.
I am really excited to announce our brand new high technology treatments. (Be sure to check out our Spring Laser Specials).
Sublime: Firming, rejuvenating, radio frequency, skin tightening treatment. Targeting saggy jawlines, droopy eyelids, and aging necks. It works amazingly without the downtime providing cumulative long lasting results. I recommend a series of 3.
New and Improved IPL Photofacial: Less pain, more results. Targeting sun damage, brown spots, capillaries, and enlarged pores.
Virtually painless Permanent Hair Removal: It’s amazing how much technology has improved. My first laser experience required Novacaine and a shot of vodka before & after. These days you can read your magazine while your hair vanishes.
Velashape III: Already staple in cellulite reduction this number III edition works magic. Virtually melts the fat away while firming your saggy skin. Great for thighs, buttocks, and stomach.
Spring is an exciting time to get out there and exercise. It produces happy endorphins and we need them after this winter. It’s also a terrific time to start eating better. I’ll share one of my breakfast tips. I soak overnight chia seeds in almond milk in the morning I’ll add blueberries, goji berries, coconut flakes, and raisins. This power breakfast fuels you for the entire morning.
Spring is on its way. As the warm fresh air hits my face for the first time this week, I was finally able to take off a few layers of clothing. Thankfully I said “so long” to my hat and winter coat. This winter has been long, cold and very dry. We have our dry skin to show for it.
The next season means less clothes and more skin. It’s time to get out our fun sun dresses, summer tops, and swimsuits! Keeping up with a good home regimen on our face and hopefully getting into the spa a few times for a facial is important, but what about our backs? This is where a back facial can help.
Rescue’s Back Facial is one of my favorite services and it’s often overlooked. It is 45 minutes of a fully relaxing, while overall rejuvenating experience!! We will start off with a thorough analysis so we can determine exactly what products will be best for you. From there it is a combination of deep cleansing; exfoliation using the proper p50 product for your skin; balance and prep of the skin; followed by a beautiful massage with the renewing pack to help hydrate and brighten. Your Rescue Back Facial finishes with a mask best suited for your skin needs to help hydrate and balance your skin. From start to finish you will be completely taken care of, and you will leave feeling rejuvenated, and ready for the spring.
Here are several simple steps to keep feeling and looking your best all year long…
Reinforce your skincare routine:
Cleanse twice a day it’s essential for healthy skin.
Exfoliate. Get rid of old skin to reveal fresh skin cells.
Try RESCUE favorite Lotion P50 “1970” containing Lactic Acid. Recommended to use twice a day. Or use Valmont ‘s fine grain exfoliant twice a week.
Stay loyal to retinol. Trends in skincare come and go Vitamin A derivative retinol has been proven to stimulate collagen, reduce wrinkles, and prevent breakouts. WARNING: Do not use retinol before waxing and make sure to wear SPF.
Moisturize like a pro. Smooth on free radical fighting antioxidant serum, my favorite is DNA Repair by Valmont. Followed by a hydrating moisturizer. I recommend 24 hour cream.
DIY Facial. Take some time to add a mask to your routine, twice weekly. Rescue cult classic Mask Vivant is like nutrition power pack for the skin. Renewing Pack is our favorite for a skin thirst quencher.
Protect your skin. Our skin is under constant assault; pollution, UV rays, and the elements. So protect it during the day with an adequate UVA & UVB sunscreen. Making sure you apply a serum underneath, like Fluide VIP O2. You don’t want sunscreen directly on your skin. Also make sure to remove sunscreen at night… you don’t want those chemicals falling asleep with you.
Drink Plenty of Water!
Dehydrated skin is old looking skin. Boo, who wants that? Keep hydrated by drinking plenty of water. Try an at home Rescue favorite by infusing with lemon & lime or orange, cucumber, and mint.
Revamp your routine. Keep your blood flowing. Try new classes at yoga. Try new sports like tennis, swimming, or racketball.
My favorite skin enhancers are avocado, flax seed, chia seeds, nuts, fatty fish (think salmon), berries, lean protein and vegetables.
Avoid processed foods, white flour, soft drinks, and fast food.
Update your makeup bag.
Our skin is forever changing what worked previously may not be the best makeup for you going forward. Try different foundation, our RESCUE favorite is the L’Elixir des Glaciers Teint Precieux. It’s like a skincare enhancer with precieux serum and a self adjusting coverage. This is way beyond any bb cream out there.
Experiment. Try new colors.
Make sure your eyebrows are beautifully shaped. It looks like this year is still going to be all about brows and lashes. Try Revitalash and Revitabrow for the healthiest, fullest, lashes and brows imaginable.
Update your wardrobe
This year different patterns and textures work together. Experiment with what’s already in your wardrobe. Dig out some patterns you’d never thought you’d wear together and go for it. Borrow mom’s and grandma’s old clothes for a retro revival. It makes dressing up fun!
I always think about my New Year’s resolutions this time of year. Since my resolution every year is to learn to play piano and speak French and I never quite get to it, this year I’m going to keep it simple. I’m still on a sugar high and post holiday cheer so naturally my first resolution will be water, making sure I’m drinking enough. I encourage all of you to do the same. When I’m not drinking water I’ll be drinking Green Tea (since apparently it helps you burn 100 calories a cup, ha!). Next I resolve to increase my physical activity, which always makes me feel better. So that means more walking and more yoga for me.
January is really harsh on our skin. So I’ll do whatever I can to plump and rehydrate my environmentally stressed skin. For a boost in hydration any hydrating mask will do. I suggest Masque Visolastine Embroyonnaire and Renewing Pack. To infuse skin with moisture I approach my winter skin care the same way I approach dressing, layer up. I use various serums like my newest loves, Le Grand Serum by Biologique Recherche and Cell Lift by CellCosmet. I then follow with the most hydrating moisturizers like Creme MSRH. If my lips are chapped I coat them with Regenera II which is the richest most moisturizing cream on earth, it’s even good enough for high altitudes and skiing. Speaking of skiing, when you’re on the slopes don’t forget to protect your skin with SPF. It may be cold but the sun is still very strong. January is the perfect time to rethink our diet, hit the Vitamin Shoppe for a new vitamin regimen, and keep the colds away. I would like to extend my best wishes to all of our followers and clients for a healthy, happy, and beautiful 2012!
During my facials I like to combine Eastern European traditions, new technologies, science, and the luxury of great products and treatments. My main priority is to give each client a facial with the best cleansing, exfoliating, hydrating, rejuvenating and lifting effects on the skin. Today I would like to talk about the effects of specialized massage techniques such as deep muscle lifting, lymphatic drainage, and acupressure. There are over 50 muscles in our face. The same as it is with our body our facial muscles also become weak, so massage brings many benefits to the skin including:
Lifting and tightening.
Improved circulation and oxygenation.
Rehydration of dry skin as massage allows the products to penetrate deeper.
Tension relief which creates a relaxing effect. Skin appears fresher and lines & wrinkles smoother.
Don’t be afraid to massage your own face… the face responds particularly well to touch as it is packed with small, sensitive muscles and so richly endowed with endings.
I like to self massage with Renewing Pack by Valmont, a favorite multi-tasking product of mine. It’s a thirst quencher for your skin, non-greasy and great for all skin types. To begin: apply Renewing Pack generously at the neck, using upward sweeping movements and spending extra time at the jaw line (to prevent sagging). Next, using the pads of your fingers continue to massage the face with slow circular movements (begin from the chin, moving outwards).
When you reach the eye area use your middle fingers in a counter clockwise motion like you’re tracing large circles around the outer eye area (apply more pressure above the eyebrows and lighter pressure as you move under the eyes). This movement greatly improves dark circles and depuffs the eye area instantly.
Moving along to your forehead continue massaging upwards and outwards toward the temples. Repeat a few times. Finish with acupressure points using a press and release technique. Use the chart below for guidance, practice and have fun doing it!
“Look amazing in just a few minutes! Primping for a holiday party should be easy, to achieve that effortless look. Go from daytime to glowtime. With the right products you can create glowing skin easily.”
1. Sothy’s:Focus on proper cleansing with a product like the Deep Pore cleanser from Sothy’s.
2. P50: Follow with a great exfoliation, P50 (contains lactic acid) is like a facial in a bottle!
3. Renewing Pack:A quick self massage with Renewing Pack which is loaded with moisture to combat dryness, increases circulation and plumps the skin.
4. Lipstick Queen: For a relaxed look wear a loose chignon and bring the glamour back to the lips with red lipstick by Lipstick Queen.
5. Peau de Peche: To feel more attractive in an instant wear a fabulous frangrance. I love Peau de Peche by Keiko Mecheri ‘A caress of peach skin wrapped in a veil of powdery notes of Orris and Sandalwood’
