1. Walk the High Line
If it’s a nice day, take a stroll along the High Line! Walking the High Line is a great activity that can be enjoyed by the whole family. Besides getting a nice view of the city, there’s also a ton of cool street art all along the way to enjoy. Plus it won’t cost you a dime!
2. Spa
If you prefer to spend your time relaxing and de-stressing, then maybe a day at the spa is exactly what you need. 3. Visit a Brewery
There are more than 20 awesome breweries to check out in New York City! That means there’s likely a brewery nearby no matter what borough you’re in. A couple that are definitely worth a visit are Gunn Hill Brewery, Brooklyn Brewery, and Singlecut Beersmiths. If you’re free for an entire day, pick out a few to visit for your own mini brew tour!
4. Staycation
Not everyone likes to be out and about when they’re trying to relax. If that’s you, then maybe a little staycation at home is what you need! Put on some music and take a bath, cuddle up in your comfy chair with a book, or spend some time on the couch catching up on your favorite shows. If you’re a homebody, a nice rejuvenating afternoon at home might be just what you need.
5. See a Show
When you’re living in New York, it’s easy to take all the awesome Broadway shows for granted since they’re always available to you. But don’t forget to take advantage of such a great opportunity! Especially if you haven’t been to Broadway in a few years, go see a show and let Broadway amaze you all over again!
6. Find a Live Event
If you’re not really into Broadway, don’t worry. There are plenty of other things to do in NYC! Whether you’re into dancing, sports, video games, or fine dining, there’s certainly something to do that will help you de-stress and unwind in New York.
