Sunday Reset: What’s In, Out & On Point This Year

As the new year rolls in, we’re giving you the inside scoop on what’s making the cut (and what’s totally getting the boot) for our crew. From new obsessions to things we’re finally ditching (goodbye, old habits!), 2025 is all about fresh starts and good vibes. Expect a mix of everything—from the quirky to the serious, the weird to the wonderful. It’s like a New Year’s resolution list, but more fun!

Landen’s Ins & outs

What’s In

Natural Hair

“Honestly, I have never been one to spend hours on my hair, so this is about working with what I have and embracing my natural hair feels true to who I am.”

Monogramming (but keep it subtle)

“Totes, notebooks, necklaces, luggage tags, you name it, monogram it.”

Book Clubs

“Creating space for meaningful connections and thoughtful conversations. Build community!”

Minimal Skincare

“I have learned the hard way that less is more when it comes to skincare, so find what works for you and stick with it.”

What’s out

Schlepping

My shoulders will thank me for this one—no more lugging around bags that look like I’m packed for a two-week vacation.

Endless Scrolling

It’s time to focus on intentional screen time that adds value or allows us to learn something new.

Delayed maintenance

From skincare to car care, we are staying ahead this year before it becomes a problem.

victoria’s Ins & outs

What’s In

Maximalist Jewelry

“I no longer want to see dainty jewelry. If it doesn’t look like it was excavated from a Byzantine ruin, no thank you.”

Personalized STATIONERY

“Imagine a handwritten thank you note on monogrammed stationary…utterly chic and thoughtful!”

natural fabrics

“In the new year, we are no longer buying expensive clothing that is primarily polyester—invest in pure silk, cashmere or cotton. We deserve the best!”

unplugged vacations

“For genuine relaxation, it’s time to put our phones away during our trips. Take the pictures, but post them once you’ve come home. Allow yourself to be 100% in the moment when given the opportunity.”

What’s out

espresso martinis

I know, they’re delicious, but I want something different. I’m going to go bold, and declare 2025 the year of the Pickletini. Don’t knock it till you try it!

takeout food

This hurts me to write, but 2025 I’m dedicating time and energy into making more homemade meals.

renting new movies on tv

Great films are meant to be seen on the big screen! Go see a new movie with a friend, and then grab a drink afterwards to discuss it. Nosferatu was excellent in case you were wondering!

mascara

I’m so glad this trend has arrived! Focus on blush and a natural lip and you look put together with minimal effort.

meghan’s Ins & outs

What’s In

glass nails

“This high shine look is guaranteed to be the next ‘It Girl’ manicure. Totally in love with manicurist Karolina Zuk’s glass nail look!”

incense

“This is an ancient way to perfume your space and is more eco-friendly than candles!”

meeting people irl

“We’re getting off the apps this year and focusing on real life connections.”

Red Light Therapy

“Low effort, high impact!”

What’s out

procrastination

Difficult to overcome, but a necessity to reach our goals!

dry hands

Hand cream is non-negotiable, especially during winter.

clutter

Marie Kondo was right

Overthinking

Time to trust our gut and not let overthinking hold us back from our potential!
