Connoisseur: Danuta Mieloch’s Favorite Things (via Shoppist)

BY . The founder of Rescue Spa is a longtime fixture on Philly’s beauty scene, but now, after fielding desperate pleas from our neighbors up north, she’s expanding beyond her Rittenhouse outpost with an NYC location, slated to open later this summer.

Danuta’s Favorite Things

Jewelry staple: A gold charm necklace from Town Home in Rittenhouse “All of my friends and family know I have it and usually get me additions.”

Little luxuries: A men’s rose gold Panerai watch, a great handbag, and a comfortable pair of Gucci loafers.

On my nightstand: A Tivoli radio and a stack of magazines.

Morning fuel: “I make myself a green juice in my Omega juicer — lemon, apple, ginger, parsley, celery and kale.”

Recent splurge: A lightweight sweater by The Row.

Collection: Buddha and Ganesh figurines, old perfume bottles and antique Lalique glass.

Beauty Arsenal

Favorite fragrance: Odin 11 or Il Profvmo’s Ginger, depending on the season.

Skin-care essentials: Biologique Recherche. “I always have Lait Vip O2, Lotion P50 1970, Masque Vivant, Fluide VIP O2 and sunscreen.”

Go-to gadget: LED Light Therapy, a UV-free at-home light system that helps regenerate skin cells.

Must-have makeup: Valmont foundation, L’Elixir des Glaciers, in Rosy Beige. “It’s like a tinted serum for your skin.”

New product: “I turned 50 this year, so currently I’m testing Liquid Surgery Serum by MBR. It comes with a hefty price tag, but it’s worth the splurge!”
