It seems like this year’s summer is ending on a stormy note! The weekend at home for me means lots of organizing my makeup products, and tossing out any oldies. Old makeup can be very creepy. So let’s toss:
- Mascara 3 months (after opening)
- Eyeshadow 1 year (after opening)
- Powder 6 months (after opening)
- Foundation 6 months (after opening)
- Lipstick 6 months (after opening)
- Eyeliner Pencil 1 year (after opening)
- Liquid Eyeliner 6 months (after opening)
and for skincare….
- Cleanser and Scrubs 6 months (after opening)
- Toner 6 months (after opening)
- Masks Up to 1 year (after opening) if it’s in a tube
- Moisturizers 6 months (after opening)
- Serums Up to 1 year (after opening) if it’s in a pump
- Sunscreen 3-6 months (after opening)
- Body Moisturizers Up to 1 year (after opening) if it’s in a pump
- Shower Sponges and Washcloths should be changed often.
These are my personal regulations and I try to keep up with it. A rainy weekend for me means a total body scrub, definitely a face mask, coating my hands and feet with a thick cream, reading my favorite book or watching a La Dolce Vita movie. Make sure you get flowers and candles to keep you happy, enjoy your weekend inside and Be Safe!
